Mausefallenautowettbewerb

Erster Mausefallenautowettbewerb am Johann-Walter-Gymnasium - Ein voller Erfolg!


Heiteres Treiben füllte kürzlich die Turnhalle des Johann-Walter-Gymnasiums. Sechsundzwanzig Mitstreiter ließen in mehreren Gruppen ihre selbst gebastelten „Mausefallenautos“ starten und wurden hierbei von Klassenkameraden und Lehrern kräftig angefeuert.

Die Schüler der sechsten Klassen hatten die Aufgabe, ein Auto zu entwickeln, welches, durch eine Mausefalle gestartet, einen möglichst weiten Weg zurücklegen sollte (s. Bild 1).

Ziel war hierbei, dass sich die jungen Gymnasiasten mit physikalischen Grundsätzen beschäftigten und diese durch Tüfteln und Experimentieren erprobten. – Mit Erfolg!

Herr Nowack, seines Zeichens nicht nur Schulleiter, sondern auch Kampfrichter, vermeldete am Ende des Wettbewerbs eine Rekordweite von 30,50 Meter, welche durch das Auto von Yannis Girke und Lisa Marie Deutrich erreicht wurde (s. Bild 2 und Bild 3).

Platz Zwei und Drei erreichten Pauline Janetzki und Pawel Pradellok mit einer Weite von 08,43 Metern und 08,05 Metern.

Besonderer Dank gilt allen Nachwuchsphysikern, die sich an diesem Wettbewerb beteiligt haben, sowie der Fachschaft Physik, welche jenen initiierte.
